This information outlines our operations in response to the government-mandated Covid-19 lockdown that comes into effect in New Zealand at 11:59 pm on Wednesday 25th March 2020. 

eziswap gas is an "essential service"

During the lockdown, we will be operating with a skeleton staff to ensure gas is supplied to either: 

1. Other businesses deemed "essential services" as defined by the New Zealand government Covid-19 website. 

2. eziswap gas swap centres who remain open in order to support other essential service providers. 

Please note, although we will be operating, our Porana Rd, Wairau Valley premises will be CLOSED to all retail customers and foot traffic from 5 pm, Wednesday 25th March 2020 until further notice. Swap Centres

Most of our nationwide swap centre network will be closed during the Covid-19 lockdown period. There are a few swap centres who will remain open during this time to provide gas supplies to other essential services providers. To check if a swap centre is open, please use our swap centre finder to locate the nearest swap centre to your location and call them using the details provided.  

Website Orders

Orders are able to be placed on the eziswap gas website as per normal. At this stage, those orders will not be able to be picked up from a swap centre until the nationwide lockdown has been removed. 

Business Users who are deemed "Essential Services"

Businesses who are deemed an "essential service" who are in need of gas supply should contact their nearest swap centre in the first instance. At this stage, we know a few swap centres are staying open to support essential services nationwide but the majority will be closed to retail customers. Use our swap centre finder on this website to find your nearest swap centre to call them directly.
